Angel and Bowden fly high with new site design

January 30th, 2012 by Andy

We’re pleased to announce that the new Angel and Bowden website is now live. The brief was to take their recently developed new brand identity and roll that out to their online offering. In order to also keep pace with the number of mobile visitors hitting the website from a variety of devices, including both handsets and tablets, the decision was made to build the site using a responsive framework which would adapt the layout of the page to the client device itself. The site was then also integrated with a WordPress CMS in order to allow instant and comprehensive content changes, site-wide.

Christie + Co m-Site goes live

November 7th, 2011 by Andy

Christie + Co mobile website

Commercial property agents Christie + Co approached us with the requirement that they needed to deliver a mobile-optimised website experience to an ever-increasing segment of mobile users.

We identified that by far the most crucial element of their site that should be geared up to mobile users was their extensive property search function and so we designed an interface with an easy-to-use search form taking pride of place on the homepage. Other important and highly trafficked areas such as latest news and office location information were also made easily accessible from the homepage.

The resulting mobile web app allows users to browse all of Christie + Co’s commercial properties, view further information,  larger images, plot it’s location on Google Maps and then contact the relevant regional office directly. By using a lightweight web framework, we were able to deliver an almost native app-like experience on smartphones, yet degrade the site to normal functionality on older handsets.

Visit the Christie + Co m-Site on your handset at: m.christie.com

Hit the slopes with “Ski Better with Ali Ross”

October 18th, 2011 by Andy

Available on the iPhone App Store

You really can ski better than you ever thought possible! Ali Ross is known as the guru of modern ski technique because he was teaching people to make more effective turns by using the edges of the ski long before carving skis were introduced. ‘The ski will turn you, if you learn how to use it,’ is the message.

Now you can take Ali’s easy-to-follow exercises out onto the slopes with you on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and your skiing can be transformed!

This app will give you the sort of experience you’d get if you went to one of Ali’s famous skiing clinics in France. It’s been shot by one of Britain’s most experienced current affairs film-makers, who’s made dozens of films for series like the BBC’s Panorama. By the end of the course you’ll know how to ski tight turns straight down the fall line so that you can enjoy your skiing more, look more stylish and tackle more challenging runs with confidence.
